about

As with most chiptune artists, video games were a sort of jumping off point for me, and there's one aspect of older RPGs that specifically influenced this album: How awesome flying was in these antiquated, pseudo-earths of the past. If you wanted your magic winged galleon with its own Inn and Armory that flew due to your own latent psychic energy you had to earn it, but it was worth it when you could finally travel to all those mysterious lands filled with unexplored dungeons and unopened treasure chests. However, in the real world, you get peanuts instead of potions and can't even leave the cabin to fight the flying squids harassing your route, which will most likely take you to some meeting at a (non-magical) mediocre hotel.

So here's to active imaginations, to exploring and to an awesome soundtrack for either.

I hope you enjoy it,
T.M.HECTOR
